Introductions
Hello again, I guess it would be good to introduce ourselves, I'll go first....please leave me a comment here with your introduction...ok? My name is Greg Skinner, I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and four awesom children...thanks God. I'm in the medical profession but my real passion is Christ and sharing Christ with the World....I love ministering to the Church in any way I can. If no one ever reads these posts then thats fine, they are therapeutic for me, otherwise I'd just sit around and talk to myself and I don't know if thats very healthy. God bless you.

What in the World
First of all, Thanks for choosing to hang out here for a little while.....I guess the name is kinda strange huh? maybe weird some might say so I guess I need to explain myself. The name is kind of a joke kinda not......let me explain just a little more of this; my background since I was born has been in the "Church of Christ".....no not the latter days, not the United Church of Christ, just your United States Restoration movement variety. Click here to read a little more about the Church of Christ. Long story short this group of Christians is generally considered to be very conservative among the broad Christian family; however, even among the Church of Christ there are those considered "liberal" and those considered "true to the faith conservative"....its like this....defining who is which is sadly destroying this fellowship.
So what about Free Range Christians?, well it was coined in our small group weekly meeting because so many of us have made it a constant effort to try to set aside the boundaries of human tradition and doctrine that have seperated us from other brothers and sisters in Christ within Churches of Christ, the wider Restoration movement family such as the independent Christian Church, and all our Christian family who are represented throughout the wider body of Christianity. No more fences we are Free indeed.
